There is
always some new music out there to capture my attention. I can't imagine a
world without music. My taste's are all over the place but I seem to have a
big part of me that is stuck on the 80's. I also have a weakness for
pop music...I cant help it...when I was a kid my mom used to listen to ABBA
while cleaning the house...now a decent pop hook gets to me every time!!!

Adam Ant- Cant shake this one since child hood....no I am not a
"Goody 2 shoes"
Aqua- You don't get more "pop" than this.
Alison Moyet- The soulful voice that lead YAZ...beautiful music
Atb- Trance at its best.
The Beautiful South- Used to be the Housemartins....kind of
mellow...very sarcastic
Big Country-Hummm 80's music...the lead singer just died...great
music lost forever now...I'm sad.....
David Bowie- As close to a musical god you can ask for
Del Amitri- Just flat out great music
DJDB-Master drum and bass DJ
The Cardigans- Way to cool for words....strange and silly
Crowded House- This is how all pop should be done
Cocteau Twins- Yeah you cant understand of a word of it...but its
beautiful..."Heaven or Las Vegas"....great CD to make sweet love to!!!
The Cure- Well it's the Cure...come on...if you were growing up and
at all artistic in the mid late 80's this was a band you were into.
The Darling Buds- They broke up ages ago....it still rocks though
Depeche Mode- Just cant get enough....a bit dark...mostly synth...love
the mood and lyrics..."see The Cure"
Duran Duran- Yeah....I admit it....I own every CD
Electronic- New Orders singer....The Smiths guitar player...what more
do you want??
Erasure- Sugar synth pop....but soooo toe tapping
Neil Finn- Former lead of Crowded House...you can't go wrong here
Nelly Fertado- Damn this girl is good
Tim Finn- Brother of the former lead of Crowded House...you can't go
wrong here either
The Fixx- My brother and I ...I think we are about the only people
who have all there CD's....you know....they do still tour....
Garbage- AWSOME!!!! Shirley Manson.....ummmmmmmmmmmm
Gene- Like the Smith's...but a bit more 90's
Happy Mondays- Groove out....close your eyes...let it make ya move
Nick Heyward- You haven't heard of him....I feel bad for you.
Lightning Seeds- Well done non-sappy pop
George Michael- Great vocals.
Monaco- New Orders bass player....and damn good too
Morrissey- I wanted his style so bad when I was 17....some of the
best lyrics around
New Order- This is what electronic music should be
Paul Oakenfold- THE DJ....THE DJ...THE

POE- If I could just stop listening to her CD I may have time to do
something in my life...POE....and wow is she beautiful

Bigger than life on Japan....happy music...very catchy even if it is in
their native tounge
Oasis- Yeah they are total dicks...but I dig the music
Ocean Blue- You never heard of them have you....to bad...this is great

The Spice Girls-Ok...stop laughing....this is my guilty pleasure
band...yes I admit it....I LIKE THE SPICE GIRLS!!!!!!
Tears For Fears- Just solid music....very catchy...
The Trash Can Sinatras- Another band you have never heard of...and no
one else has either....its such a shame...they are so good its scary!!!!
Robbie Williams- 100% brit pop
